The base of the Tides console is hand-carved in solid wood, rendering each piece totally unique (and numbered). The carving motif responds to the specific grain patterns of the timber while also being inspired by the designer's lifetime of walking coastlines and adoration of the sea. The bronze glass top is also hand-cut. Custom wood species and top materials are available. Specific patterns from a client's home beach can also be incorporated into the base of the piece.
