Inspired by a love for wood-burning fires and the timeless experience of tending to them and gathering fireside, the Austin-based Muhly designed a series of objects to bring artful detail to the experience. Their hand-welded steel andirons — brackets used for bringing circulation to a fire and minimizing smoke — are like jewelry for the fireplace. For best use and longevity, we recommend pairing with a grate.
