Kouros Maghsoudi's modular cocktail table is inspired by Taarof, a Persian tradition of etiquette and hospitality. The piece's design incorporates four discs on the four corners of its tabletop that appear to be extensions of its legs — they can be made plain (sealed closed), or with custom lidded inserts in three available functions: a fruit basket, a pewter ashtray, and/or a double-walled ice bucket. Standard pricing is for four plain discs, while inserts cost an additional $500 each; a totally flat top (no discs at all on the tabletop) is also available. The table can be color-matched to any RAL or paint color at no additional charge.
