The piece's design incorporates four chubby discs at the corners of its tabletop that appear to be extensions of its legs — they can be made plain (sealed closed), lopped off entirely for a flat top, or inset with custom vessels designed for party-maxxing: a fruit basket, a pewter ashtray, a double-walled ice bucket.
