Antica I floor lamp

Regular price $4,700.00

A pre-Hispanic Mexican smithing tradition thrives around recycling copper scraps into contemporary lighting fixtures. Originally copper was mined by indigenous people to create elaborate masks, chains, and other objects as offerings to the Tarascan gods. To produce their Antica lights, the designers work with families of artisans who have been working with copper for generations. The Antica floor lamp is shown here with a silver finish, but lime green, sage green, forest green, turquoise, natural copper, and mare are also available (see swatch images and specify at checkout). Each fixture is UL-listed and wired for use in the US.
