Heavily influenced by the 1960s-era glass artworks Larry Bell created as part of the California Light & Space movement, the AL-03 coffee table is composed of two L-shaped aluminum legs, brushed and waxed by hand, and a smoked glass top. Every component of the table is based on simple geometry; offsetting the L’s creates a dialogue of negative and positive space to imply the illusion of a single rectangular base. The size of this table is customizable.
